چکیده
Abstract Yield is a function of environmental quality and the sensitivity with which genotypes react to that. Environmental characterized by meteorological data, soil agronomic management, whereas genotypic embodied combinations physiological traits that determine crop capture partitioning resources over time. This paper illustrates how genotype responses can be studied combination simulation statistical modelling. We environment interaction for grain yield wheat population segregating flowering time simulating it using Agricultural Production Systems sIMulator (APSIM) cropping systems model. For sites in NE Australian wheat-belt, we used information as integrated APSIM classify years according water, heat frost stress. Results highlight frequency more severe water temperature stress has largely increased recent years. Consequently, likely future varieties will need cope stressful conditions than past, making important select habits contributing water-stress adaptation. Conditional on year types, fitted response surfaces functions genotype, latitude longitude virtual multi-environment trials. Response were two-dimensional P-splines mixed-model framework predict at high spatial resolution. Predicted yields demonstrated relative performance changed location type interactions dissected. recommendations, quantification stability characterization.

Adaptation to Climate Change
We investigate the effect of climate change on population growth in 18th and 19th century Iceland. We find that annual temperature changes help determine the population growth rate in preindustrial Iceland: a year 1◦C cooler than average drives down population growth rates by 0.57% in each of the next two years, for a total effect of 1.14%. We also find that 18th and 19th century Icelanders ada...
متن کاملAdaptation pathways of global wheat production: Importance of strategic adaptation to climate change
Agricultural adaptation is necessary to reduce the negative impacts of climate change on crop yields and to maintain food production. However, few studies have assessed the course of adaptation along with the progress of climate change in each of the current major food producing countries. Adaptation pathways, which describe the temporal sequences of adaptations, are helpful for illustrating th...

We simulate the effect of climate change on water requirements of cold seasonwheat in various climatic zones of Iran. The research considers both observedclimate (temperature and precipitation) changes during recent decades (1960-2009)based on instrumental records and projected future changes to 2100 based on theMAGICC/SCENGEN 5.3 compound model. 20 General Circulation models are usedbased on a...
متن کاملassessment of the adaptation strategiesin rainfed chickpea in response to future climate change in zanjan province
introduction chickpea (cicer arietinum l.) is cultivated on alarge scale in arid and semiarid environments. terminal drought and heat stress, among other abiotic and biotic stresses, are the major constraints of yield in most regions of chickpea production. the study of the effects of climate change could help to develop adaptation strategies to promote and stabilize crop yield. this research w...
